Ok..so this is like the Mother of all Start Ups.
We are thrilled to announce that a $69 million federally funded research laboratory, the National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Institute (NAMII), will be launching from the campus of the Youngstown Business Incubator.
Yes, you read that right, a $69 million research laboratory for the software-driven additive manufacturing industry will be located in Youngstown, Ohio.

An absolutely stellar team drawn from university, private sector and government resources in the Cleveland to Pittsburgh corridor met for a solid week at YBI to build our winning proposal in an ultra-competitive national award program.
And to them, we owe our most heartfelt thanks.
Oh...and I promised to mow their lawns and wash their cars for the rest of my life !
That was the clincher.
