Manufacturers, educators, government officials, community organizations and other regional leaders who are interesting in solving manufacturing skills shortages.

The Purpose of the Summit:
The Manufacturing Workforce Summit is designed to convene, educate and mobilize the region’s key stakeholders to initiate actions that start manufacturing growth and create career pathways for individuals.

Summit Attendees will:

  • Gain a better understanding of the opportunities and growth potential for regional manufacturers and the workforce challenges at hand
  • Define opportunities to improve education and training to be more relevant to the needs of the region’s manufacturers
  • Hear ideas and solutions for preparing, attracting and retaining a qualified workforce
  • Develop a regional agenda and concrete and realistic action plan to address manufacturing workforce challenges
  • Learn how the region’s manufacturers are creating a mechanism for an ongoing dialogue among industry, education and the public workforce system
