YBI portfolio companies enjoy professionally maintained Internet connections from day one, at no cost.  The current system provides two separate connections to the Internet with a fail-over routing system in between the two connections.  Should one Internet circuit fail, the second connection automatically takes its place, maintaining high availability and redundancy for Internet-critical business applications.

Each portfolio company has "static IP" addresses at their disposal, making possible the hosting of Web sites, e-mail and other Internet applications.  Total bandwidth available as of this date exceeds 7 Mbps x 3 Mbps, more than adequate for demanding applications such as streaming media and video conferencing.  In addition, YBI maintains "DNS servers" for the use of portfolio companies, allowing portfolio companies to take full advantage of the Incubator's networking strategy.

Troubleshooting is available on-site, which is provided by Perkins Communications, giving companies a quick turnaround on tech support issues.
